-What a way to celebrate spring! This is a fun way to get to know fellow gardening enthusiasts and get some new seeds or plants in the bargain.  Have extra seeds or cuttings of plants that you want to share? Want to see what heirloom varieties are available locally? Seed and plant exchanges are a popular way to share your garden with others and pick up some new plants that you may not have. This free event is fun for young and old.

Irish Road Bowling 5/13/17 Kanawha State Forest 12-4PM

-Primarily played in Ireland. This game dates back to the 1600's. This sport is played with a hand-sized steel ball that is thrown underhanded like bowling down a country lane.  The legend says that perhaps it started with English cannonballs taken by the Irish to play this game originally.  Like with golf, the person who throws the ball the fewest amount of times to the finish line wins. This free event is fun for everyone. Come try your hand at a sport that's older than many others!
